This purpose takes such a major place in my heart. We knew it at our time because when we entered the “real world”, we didn’t have the tools to navigate it. That’s why I stayed in the world of education for the last two decades.

I sincerely believe we are doing our kids a major disservice, and though I work on grassroots change, I see that the bigger system isn’t shifting. That’s because this industrial model of education serves the system. That idea alone scares me, because the intention and heart is not in the right place.

How we do things should be based on the best interest of the learner.

Anytime we talk about reimagining schedules to really prepare our kids for their lives, everyone gets frightened because it’s so different from what they know and are accustomed to.

I am scared that the longer we don’t change...the longer we perpetuate generations of people who don’t know themselves and are not ready for their future.
